Event Details
Will transportation be provided to wedding events?
YES! we will have pickups and drop-offs for the wedding day. (More information to come on this closer to the date)
Can I bring a plus one?
Your invitation will indicate if you have a plus-one.
Can I bring my kids?
We are keeping the weekend to an adult-only celebration.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We please ask that everyone put their phones away during the ceremony. We have invested in the best team to capture our day, phones and flash will interfere with the moment and the photo concepts Carly and Ben are dreaming of. Feel free to take videos and photos during cocktail hour and the reception.
Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors?
Yes, everything will be outdoors and mostly on grass!
Should we say goodbye on the night of the wedding?
Irish exits are encouraged
What should I wear to the wedding?
We ask that everyone come in formal attire, suits for men and long dresses for women. To note, the entire day will be on grass.
Historically, in October, you can expect temperatures to be a high of 89F/28C and a low of 69F/15C.

Where is the wedding taking place?

What is the best way to get to Brays?
Please view our travel guide here for more information. Savannah, Charleston, and Charlotte are the closest major airports.
Do I need a rental car?
YES! You will definitely need a rental car, everything is very spread out.
We suggest someone in your group having one. If you’re arriving on a different flight then your group, you can see a list of transportation services here
Can I uber to the wedding or welcome event?
NO, there are no ubers in the area as it is very remote. We will have transportation for the wedding day. We do have a list of chauffeur services

Brays Island info
How do I sign up to activities?
You will receive an activity letter after you receive your formal invitation from Marcie-Anne, Brays Island's event coordinator. Your guest account will also be set up at this time.
Do I need a guest account when i’m at Brays?
Guests staying on Brays or utilizing the amenities will require a Guest Account. Brays is a cashless community and requires guests to provide their credit card information if they decide to utilize any of the amenities on the property.
Where can I get food on Brays?
The Golf Grill is open for lunch and dinner during the week. Attire is smart casual. (no ripped jeans). It also offers Brunch on Sundays.
Reservations are required for dinner.
The Inn offers Breakfast Monday-Saturday from 7:30 am-9:30 am and dinner only on Sundays; jackets and reservations are required.
If you are staying in a house on the property, the closest major grocery stores are Wegmans and Publix in Beaufort they also offer grocery delivery.
