Brays Island is a private, gated 5,500 acre property located in Sheldon, South Carolina. There are 325 homeowners, and
Ben’s maternal grandma Di Howard, has spent her winters here since 1989 and is an original homeowner.

Brays is VERY spread out, for example, to drive from The Inn (wedding location) to the Gazebo (TBD welcome party)
is 3.8 miles, about a 12 minute drive.
The distance from the main gate entrance to
The Inn is 2.1 miles, about a 6 minute drive.
It’s a 30-minute drive to the closest town, Beaufort.
We recommend doing any grocery or liquor store shopping prior to your arrival as most of the guest homes all have kitchenettes.

For dinner you will need a reservation.
The attire is smart casual. No ripped jeans.
When using the dining facilities, Brays asks that hats be removed, shirttails be tucked in, and cell phones be turned off.
Dinner reservations are required by 3:00 pm. No-show charges will be made to those who make reservations and donot cancel them before 3 pm the day of their reservation.
If you are staying on Brays Island, you are welcome to enjoy the many amenities while on the property. After you receive your formal invitation, Bray’s event coordinator
Marcie-Anne will reach out to you to set up a guest account - Brays is a cashless property, and everyone wishing to utilise the activities must set up a guest account.
You will then be able to book all the activities you wish.
